very professional gives good details to customers and very reliable

Very very satisfied with Mark! He is such a knowledgeable inspector. I could not have chosen a better inspector. I have bought 2 homes previously and can only wish I had used Mark on those, but at least I have him to help me feel secure in buying home #3. He was friendly, happy to explain things during the inspection. I had some areas of concern I wanted him to look at and he was very receptive. He went through and looked at everything, taking lots of pictures and videos and showed me them so I understood what he saw. I honestly couldn't have chosen a better inspector. I will only recommend him and will only ever use him!

As a 20 year veteran agent, I am always a little leery when a buyer uses a family friend or someone they know to do a home inspection. This was not the case today! Mark and his team were very thorough, knowledgable and efficient! Thank you!

Both Mark and Steven were incredible and extremely knowledgeable. We are first-time homebuyers with little knowledge about the maintenance and systems that come with owning a house. Mark explained everything to us in a friendly and easy-to-understand way. He told us how various parts of the house work, how to maintain/fix them, why certain parts of the home were good or bad.. even pointing out cosmetic issues that we hadn't noticed during our tour. Without judgement, he happily and eagerly answered any question we had. I learned a lot in just the short amount of time I was with him and am now much more confident in owning and maintaining a home. The report came back within a couple hours after the inspection. It was detailed, clear, and easy to follow. I will now always recommend Sound Home Inspections to anyone I know looking for a home inspection.

Mark and Steven arrived a little before the scheduled time. This was my first home inspection. Mark explained everything as he went along, and even asked me questions. I felt like I was getting an education because he gave history and background information as he performed his duties. I found it very interesting! He should me all the violations and explained why. They were very professional; yet approachable. The inspection was performed at a comfortable pace. I would recommend Mark and Steven. This inspection was well worth the money, even though I didn't purchase the house.

I was expecting to meet up with an inspector and just be treated like a number but that was not the case. When we pulled up Mark came up and treated us like family. He had his son and nephew (sorry I don't want to get names wrong) and they too were genuine.
Not only did they explain the process and answer questions but they also teach you what can be done and give tips and advice and carry a genuine conversation about your investment. I am picky personally and I seriously recommend Sound homes.

Mark and his team did such a thorough job inspecting our future home. He took the time to explain things I wouldn't have thought of. He noticed there was no vents on our microwave and throughly explained what he saw on the roof. He gave us advice on how we could fix things at a fair price on our own. This is the second time that I have used Sound Home Inspections. Both Mark and his team are truly professionals in this field! They explained items that they are looking at as well as information about why it's needed or not. They explained items that are "not bad" but will soon need attention. No stone unturned! They have a wealth of knowledge! They were thorough, efficient and painstakingly clean. Any dust or dirt from moving items or accessing attics, etc was caught in drop cloths or removed.
